2024 New Zealand Economics Forum
The 2024 New Zealand Economics Forum will set the scene for the next Government, offering policy insights and robust commentary on the most pressing and complex issues facing our country today.
Now in its fourth year, the theme for this year’s forum is 'A Briefing to the Incoming Government'. Expert speakers will discuss how we can respond to the headwinds of a growing and ageing population, adapt to climate change, and the need for significant investment in health, housing and infrastructure.
Hosted by the Waikato Management School, this two-day event is open to anyone who is interested in economic issues. Seats are strictly limited, learn more and register here.
The forum will take place in the University of Waikato's brand-new student hub and events facility, The Pā, which opened in July 2023.
