Emerging Leaders Programme
Would you like the skills to become a leader within your organisation?
Have you got someone in your team who would benefit from upskilling to be a mentor, leader, or coach?
Do you have supportive leader roles (2IC /team leader/supervisor) who need to develop their skills and knowledge?
This programme of six half-day module offers developing or new leaders a structured programme of learning.
Each module introduces business and leadership topics, building on each module to enhance communication and leadership, the programme is connected to strengths and development opportunities. After completing each module, participants have a two-week period to implement what has been covered before the group reconvenes to unpack and troubleshoot.
Who should attend?
Whether you are new to leadership or hoping to advance to a leadership or supporting role, we can help sharpen your communication skills, gain a greater understanding of team dynamics, motivators and pressures, and how to influence these positively for individual and team growth.
What will you learn?
The importance of positive and supportive language during formal feedback discussions. Gain insight into your own strengths using CliftonStrengths and how to utilise both strengths and development areas to enhance team dynamics. Understand different motivators and demotivators and how these may play-out at work, and how to utilise these to support individuals on your team. Gain self-awareness and begin to develop, or further develop, emotional intelligence for improved communication and diminish conflict, especially during change. Give your team a better understanding of different communication styles and preferences and help them tailor their approach based on these and others’ motivators.
