Fieldays exhibitors recognised for creativity and sustainability

Hansen has taken out Supreme Site at the Fieldays Site Awards judged on-site and presented at a special evening function on Wednesday in the Fieldays Bar and Eatery.

The judge’s assessment was based on Hansen going above and beyond to provide an exceptional customer experience to visitors. Criteria also measured their overall attractiveness, innovative site design, recognisable branding, and a clear focus on customer service.

Proving a fan-favourite for all ages the site features working demonstrations of their valves, fittings and irrigation systems in action. For a donation to their chosen charity Cure Kids, keen punters can also test their skills on the rock-climbing wall.

Sustainability also featured at the centre of the judges’ decision to select Hansen for the way they have embraced environmentally responsible behaviour.

David Natzke, Key Accounts and Sales Manager and coordinator of the Site Awards reflected that “It was great to see Hansen has embraced a strong focus on sustainability. Everything was considered right down to their staff uniform which was made from recycled cardboard and bamboo. Which even included their shoes”.

Fitting with the brief for summer their outrageously fun outfits where a showstopper, added David. “They certainly look ready for tan lines and good times”.

Food truck Deejays Gourmet Griller was also recognised for their dedication to the environment taking out the Commitment to Sustainability Award for their consistent use of alternatives to plastic cups and utensils.

“Their use of high quality, locally sourced produce and aims to use packaging that doesn’t end up in landfill was great to see,” said David.

The award for Best Agribusiness Outdoor Site went to finance and investment company Jarden whose site features a wine bar, indoor and out seating and a seminar schedule of industry professionals speaking about the issues that matter the most to the primary sector.

Feed manufacturer SealesWinslow Limited won the Best Agribusiness Indoors Site for its visually appealing and inviting site. The architectural layout and use of modular features such as the cow enhanced their branding and were eye-catching to passing visitors.

Finally, foodie and newcomer Benito's Pleasures were recognised for Best Small Site. Their beret-wearing staff were praised for entertaining visitors and serving up delicious authentic crepes with passion and flair.

The Fieldays Exhibitor Site Awards are held each year, with the winners receiving a prize hamper and a discount off their 20223 site.
